Shari Rowe Releases Southern Spells to Country Radio

Posted by

Shari Rowe released her newest single, “Southern Spells” to country radio May 22nd. Full of bluegrass and traditional country roots, along with plenty of fiddle. Rowe debuted her single with an interview and acoustic performance of “Southern Spells” on KGUN Channel 9‘s Tucson Morning Blend. She also performed on AZTV’s Sandy & Friends in Prescott, Arizona. Rowe will visit 95.1 KTTI, Yuma’s Hot Country in Yuma, Arizona and 92.9 KAFF Country’s in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Rowe revealed this song isn’t exactly new for her. It was recorded years ago for an Indie project. After playing it at shows, this fan favorite was a song Rowe “had to” record. Co-written by fellow Arizonian Nick Orso. Rowe headed to Nashville to record “Southern Spells” at the Grammy award-winning studio The Rukkus Room.

Reflective of its cover, this mystical tune tells the tale of a Southern Belle. This song is bound to captivate listeners with its rich lyrics. “Southern Spells” warns southern towns to watch out for this Southern Belle,

Oh she’ll take you for a ride straight to hell
Unless you can guard your eyes
Fare thee well the southern spell
“Southern Spells” is more outlaw country than we’ve heard from Rowe. Her western twist on this southern tale proves she has depth when it comes to songwriting. Take a listen to “Southern Spells” on Spotify or purchase on iTunes and Amazon. Like what you hear? Request “Southern Spells” to your local country radio station.
